today i started my painting elective which will run for 2 weeks .. today we discussed pieces of art work from artist ans also pva glued up white shhets of paper!! im enjoying it so far just cant wait to start messing with loooooooots of COLOUR :)

end of print :(

well its coming to the end of my print elective :( don't want to leave.I loved the two weeks, really enjoyed the work and the whole atmosphere of the print room. today we had to do our day project consisting of having to do a print of an image that represented "clutter" to you.. i picked used fag butts and ashes, knocked over, spread across on a flat surface. the picture is taken close up where i can see the detail of the ashes :) i really enjoyed printing these.

this week im getting my priiiiiiiints finished .. have lots more to do... gotta get cracking at it now tomorrow .. lots of fun :D

PRINT!!!!

Started print this week :) looooove it .. were creating works regarding space! im following up from the leaves onto flowers.. and looking at all the different colours of the flowers and different types of flowers and their space in the environment..

xmas tree .. :p

well..... what i ended up doing today was ... cutting down a christmas tree!!! i got at it with a saw .. cut a branch off it so i could use it to create :) what i done with the branch is that i put sweet wrappers onto it and illustrated them as leaves. starting off at the branch [art with green leaves and as they fell off they ended up dieing and the sweet wrappers became different colors, they went from green and ended up being a dark orange/red color.

XMAS STORY

over the christmas ive being working on my action plan. this include lots of experimentation and creation. i have two big paintings of a leaf that will be exhibited by hanging. On these paintings there is a contrast between a leaf when it is fresh on the tree and then when it starts to die, at the stage where it is nearly ready to fall off the tree. My aim for this piece of work is that, when suspended will twirl and one will see the different seasons,lets say, as it twirls!!

another piece that came all off a sudden to me and i am still working on is my "CADBURY ROSES CREATION" ha ha this came about one evening as i was, as you do at xmas, sitting down watching tv .. i started to play around with them by burning the plastic. its a very favorable plastic as its very soft and stretchy. inside it there is a tin foil layer, which i managed to get off clearly. my idea with this is that i am going to use them as leaves... leave the fresh ones as normal wrappers, then burn them gradually as they start to die . lets hope for the best :)

right well my action plan for xmas is nearly complete .. ive a few more bits to do , then post here and il be done :)
